Mak-a-din
love performing at burns suppers mostly because it is a pleasure to
keep alive the memory of our most famous poet, Robert Burns.
His songs poems and letters should, and will be, cherished by us
proud Scots forever.
In their immortal memory Mak-a-din
keep the contents light-hearted and funny while at the same time
emphasise how important it is to remember our precious bard.
Mak-a-din have various "immortal
memories" recitals for individual venues. One of those "immortal
memories" is in the form of an execptional personal poem which is
always well received, particularly at mixed nights, as it only lasts
about 10 minutes.
Mak-a-din
are renowned for their toast to the haggis which encompasses a
fantastic poem, and is just right for setting the atmosphere and
kick starting a great night which is guaranteed to be
remembered.

Where appropriate Mak-a-din
have a associations with a female performer, who is well versed in
the bards work, and can reply on behalf of the lassies so that they,
(the ladies), can get their own back on the lads.
